A panaramic landscape inspired by walks on the South Downs in warm but wintry tones, a mid winter scene, the turning point when we turn our backs on the darkest days to look forward to the light. An aubergine, blankety sky covers all the land up to the horizon while a winter sun still manages to shine through and reveal the view of the sunlit valley.
 
Three ink paintings, each 42.5 x 30 x 2 cms, individually titled, dated and signed on the reverse side. Framed as a triptych within a painted wood tray-frame as shown here,  the triptych framed outer size measures 47 x 96 cms.
